In Val Thorens, catered chalets are not as common as Meribel but we do actually have a great choice, a total of 35 catered chalets in Val Thorens itself, plus 13 self catered apartments. We have listed just a small selection.
Most of the chalets featured are fully catered with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening dinner with wine.

You will find that all the chalets in Val Thorens, unlike Meribel, are more or less ski in ski out. Val Thorens is a giant snow bowl and the chalets all sit in the centre of it. By choosing a catered chalet , you save the hassle of going out for dinner, making your own breakfast. Afternoons in the chalet are very friendly affairs with tea, cakes, and of course a few beers usually. Most chalet staff have a bar tab system. Just take a beer and write your name on the tab. Before doing whole seasons a catered chalet holiday was always our first choice, although a lot depends on your luck. ie your the fellow guests . Transfer times. Geneva to Val Thorens. 	Chalet Catherine and Chalet Olivier although two separate chalets are combined in one large detached chalet and share a ground floor private sauna. Both chalets are central and extremely stylish. Skiing is door to door , as the chalet is situated right by the Val Thorens nursery slopes. 	Chalet Susanna is catered for individually by its own dedicated Chalet Host. This chalet apartment is in an ideal location close to the centre of Val Thorens, and you can generally ski down to the edge of the piste.The chalet is almost ski in ski out. Chalet Susanna can sleep 10 guests in 5 bedrooms.The chalet has a log fire in the living/dining room, and also has free access to the residence indoor swimming pool.
